Swift Youth Foundation | Fall 2010 - Present

All of Swift Youth Foundation’s programs facilitate positive mentorship relationships between economically disadvantaged youth and college-bound teens – a mutually beneficial relationship with significant impact on everyone involved.
Young Professional Board Member
  • Work diligently to fulfill the mission and vision of Swift Youth Foundation by supporting the staff, volunteers and programs that Swift Youth Foundation facilitates.
  • Attend major Swift Youth Foundation events, public events, fundraisers and programing.
  • Actively encourage support and attendance to events by my friends, colleagues and the community.
  • Support fundraising efforts.
Graphic Designer
  • Designed print and social media graphics for fundraising campaigns and events.
  • Assisted with social media management during fundraising campaigns and at Camp Swift summer sessions.
  • Example projects: Swift Youth Foundation Media Kit, Arizona Gives Day/Swift Gives Day Campaign, Giving Tuesday Campaign, T-shirt and poster designs for the Swift Carnival, and Social Media Manager during Camp Swift summer sessions.
​Camp Swift Roles: Counselor, Support Staff, Unit Head, Program Director
  • Volunteer with children in the greater Phoenix area. Facilitated after school programs, weekend programs, mini camps, and 5-6 day camp sessions in Prescott, Arizona where campers live in cabins with 10-14 other kids. They participate in swimming, art activities, values programming, science experiments, and more.
  • As a Unit Head I was in charge of the counselors for a specific age group. We had daily meetings and I helped plan activities for the cabins as well as participated and checked up on activities to make sure everything was moving smoothly.
  • As Program Director I worked on writing programs, oversaw programs were running smoothly, and managed inventory.

Hillel at Colorado State University | Fall 2014 - Fall 2017

Interfaith Coordinator
  • Organized the first Interfaith Sukkot dinner in 2014 with the Muslim Student Association and Arabic Club. The evening was based around the story of Abraham welcoming strangers into his home.
  • Planned the first annual Interfaith Thanksgiving in 2014. Began with Hillel at CSU, the Geller Center (spiritual center), and the Lutheran Campus Ministry. 100 people packed into the Hillel house for a thanksgiving meal. The event has since moved to a bigger location and has over 175 people in attendance and is organized by faith groups across campus and the Fort Collins , CO area.
  • Participated in the Avi Schaefer Fund interfaith dinner 2015-2017. Partnered with the Muslim Student Association to share about our religions and cultures at a Friday night dinner.
President and Leadership Team Member
  • Led weekly meetings and helped plan and facilitate Hillel events.
  • Cooked for weekly Shabbat dinners and other events.
